Climate change is being felt here in Alberta - heatwaves and other weather extremes are having environmental, economic, and social effects. So, what exactly is climate change? What does it look like in Alberta? How will the changing climate impact your work?
Adaptation Resilience Training (ART) provides agricultural, infrastructure, watershed, and community planning professionals with the foundational knowledge necessary to integrate climate change adaptation into their professional practice.
This online training is free, and most appropriate for those new to learning how to apply climate change concepts to their work.
Participants who complete all four pre-requisite modules as well as their stream module can earn continuing education credits with their professional associations. In addition to the four pre-requisite modules and one stream module, participants are welcome to join the modules not directly related to their stream, as optional learning.
