Engagement has concluded
A May 2017 report by the Bow River Working Group identified three reservoir options that warrant further study.
In November 2018, the Alberta government launched a conceptual assessment of the following new reservoir options:
A new reservoir located near Morley between the Horseshoe Dam and Ghost Reservoir,
Expansion of Ghost Reservoir; and
A new reservoir located between Ghost Reservoir and Bearspaw Dam.

1BradStirrettover 4 years agoLeave them alone. There are already 4 dams on this river. If that doesn't mitigate Calgary's flooding problem, how will one more dam help?
These are beautiful sections of river that will be destroyed.

4KRover 4 years agoit cost insurance 4 to 5 billion to fix downtown from the 2013 flood & nothing has changed since 2013 to protect downtown from flooding
