Bow Basin Water Management Options
Engagement has concluded
A May 2017 report by the Bow River Working Group identified three reservoir options that warrant further study.
In November 2018, the Alberta government launched a conceptual assessment of the following new reservoir options:
A new reservoir located near Morley between the Horseshoe Dam and Ghost Reservoir,
Expansion of Ghost Reservoir; and
A new reservoir located between Ghost Reservoir and Bearspaw Dam.

Leave them alone. There are already 4 dams on this river. If that doesn't mitigate Calgary's flooding problem, how will one more dam help?
These are beautiful sections of river that will be destroyed.

it cost insurance 4 to 5 billion to fix downtown from the 2013 flood & nothing has changed since 2013 to protect downtown from flooding

Shouldn’t Glenbow East actually be Bearspaw West? If an extension of our water reservoir,can it provide drinking water and flood mitigation?
