Technical submissions

Technical or fact-based documents can now be submitted for the committee’s consideration. If you have prepared or commissioned a paper or document on a topic relevant to Alberta’s coal policy, please fill out the following information before uploading your submission. Ensure that you:

  • are the author or report owner;
  • the document is in Word document or PDF formats;
  • the document includes an executive summary; and
  • the document does not contain personal information of any individuals, including yourself.

Your submission may be shared publicly and associated with your organization or author's name. We welcome your candid and open comments; however, the committee reserves the right to not share submissions that are abusive or contain inappropriate language. All submissions will be reviewed to ensure they adhere to the site's moderation policies. Submissions violating any policies (such as identifying personal information about others, harassments, etc.) will be returned to the author for amendments. Submissions may be further redacted to ensure the disclosure of any personal information found within is conducted in accordance with Part 2 of the Freedom of Information and Protection of Privacy (FOIP) Act.

The personal information collected through the technical submissions portal will be used by the committee to help them understand the background and experience of individuals/organizations submitting technical information, and which may lead to further direct contact by the committee should they have additional questions or require further details. This personal information collection is authorized under section 33(c) of the FOIP Act.
